Independent studio · Demand development

Demand,
with direction.

Outbound lead generation, B2B marketing and business development for software and tech companies.

The right people. A real reason to talk.
A clear decision about what comes next.

Light changes everything.

A study in perspective.
  • Founder-led
  • US Eastern hours

Clarity before scale.

01 / The approach

A broad market.
A sharper focus.

Most outbound fails before the first email is sent. We start with the decision that makes the rest of the work matter.

From possibility to purpose.

01 — Who

Choose who
actually matters.

A job title and an industry filter are a starting point. We identify the buyer, the problem they own and the conditions that make them a fit.

The output / A segment with a reason.

02 — Why now

Find a reason
to arrive today.

A new contract. A deadline. A change in responsibility. The reason to talk should come from the buyer's world.

The output / A relevant, testable hypothesis.

03 — What we test

Make the next
decision clearer.

Agree on the measures. Run the pilot. Report what happened, including what missed. What changes next follows the evidence.

The output / A decision you can act on.

Inside the approach

Less noise.
More signal.

A CLEARER WAY FORWARD ↓

02 / Open the work

Less promise.
More to inspect.

Three complete documents. The thinking, the tradeoffs and the decision — open for you to examine.

Synthetic demonstration — not client work or achieved results. Stannary Systems is invented.

01 / The diagnostic

Choosing is
the work.

Two segments. One deliberate exclusion. A buyer hypothesis and the evidence that would change our mind.

Engagement

A considered start.
A clear next step.

Not phases of a project — three separate commitments, each with something in your hands at the end of it and a decision you can take either way.

Stage
Diagnostic
Pilot
Ongoing
What you get
DiagnosticA written diagnostic: the segment we would go after, the segments we would exclude and why, the buyer and trigger hypothesis, and a prioritised test plan.
PilotA target list, approved messaging, sending infrastructure live in your accounts, a weekly report with denominators, and a written recommendation at the end.
OngoingContinuous sourcing, sending and reporting, with the same weekly denominators and a monthly review that names what changes next.
The decision it lets you make
DiagnosticWhether to run a pilot at all, and against which segment.
PilotWhether the channel works for you well enough to run continuously.
OngoingReviewed monthly. You decide each month whether it continues.
What we need from you
DiagnosticOne or two conversations with whoever currently owns sales, plus whatever outreach and CRM history you already have. If you have none, we say so and work from the market instead.
PilotApproval of messages and lists within the agreed turnaround, agreement on the target list, and follow-up on the conversations we hand over. The at-risk refund depends on these three.
OngoingThe same three as the pilot, plus a named person on your side who owns the handover of conversations.

Fees, the at-risk split and what happens if a stage misses: how we price and how an engagement works. Durations are set per engagement, in writing — we do not publish a fixed number of weeks we have not agreed with you.

Results from these three engagements are not published. The clients hold the performance data and haven't shared it with us, and we don't publish figures we can't source. That is also why the worked examples above are invented rather than borrowed from a client — it lets us show you all of the work instead of the part someone else approves. Risk

What happens if it doesn't work

The diagnostic has a fixed fee. If you don't find it worth acting on, we refund it in full and you keep the document.

G-B · Terms §3.1

Before a pilot starts, we agree with you, in writing, what counts as a qualified conversation and how many the pilot should produce. If it doesn't, you get the at-risk part of the fee back.

G-C · Terms §3.2

Whatever we build — lists, messaging, sending infrastructure — is yours from day one, in your own accounts and domains. Ongoing work is month to month and you can leave with notice.

G-E · Terms §3.4 · Ownership · Terms §5

Read the full terms. They're on the page, not in the fine print. Here is a pilot that missed its threshold, reported the way yours would be.

Illustration, not a quote Pilot · G-C

How a pilot fee splits

  • Build portion (non-refundable)
  • At-risk portion (refunded if the written threshold is missed)

Per 100 of fee: 70 is the build portion (non-refundable), 30 is refunded if the written threshold is missed.

We set the size of each portion per pilot, in writing, before you sign. Terms §3.2

The person accountable

A person to call.
A team accountable.

So we start with who you should be talking to, and then we do the talking. I do the demand work with a small founder-led team. I'm in Pakistan, I work the full US Eastern business day, and I'm one message away — that's my email and my phone below, not a shared inbox.

What I don't have is years or published numbers, and I won't pretend otherwise. What I'll give you instead is written measures, part of my fee at risk, and every result reported with its denominator including the ones that miss.

Next step

Your next chapter.
Let’s find its direction.

Who it's for

A founder or commercial lead at a software or tech company who needs their next customers, partners or investors, and doesn't yet have a function that produces them.

What it is

30 minutes, with Nouman, the founder, on US Eastern hours. Nouman stays accountable for the engagement; your proposal names the team responsible for delivering it.

Bring, if you have it

Whatever outreach you're running now, and who you think your buyer is. If you have neither, that is a normal place to start and worth saying on the call.

Afterwards

A written follow-up of what we discussed. If a diagnostic makes sense we'll quote a fixed fee in writing; if it doesn't, we'll say so. We don't produce a bespoke strategy on a first call and won't pretend to.
